Although I highly recommend giving at least 15 minutes daily to physical books because of the attention you give to them, it slows your mind down allowing creative thought.
Listening to audio is faster when multitasking, going to the gym, driving, working, or doing household chores. You can crank out a 3-hour read while doing laundry (ok that's a lot of laundry, but house stuff sucks day in and day out and it takes time), mowing your lawn, practicing your golf swing, lounging by the pool.
